The Lukashenka regime is torturing prisoners of conscience.
Finnish MEP Heidi Hautala addressed the Belarusian authorities. She calls on Minsk to immediately and unconditionally release activist of the European Belarus civil campaign Palina Sharenda-Panasiuk and other political prisoners.
“While Lukashenka grandstands to loyalists and talks up imaginary threats, opposition activists are left to rot in solitary confinement and face severe mistreatment. Palina Sharenda-Panasiuk and other political prisoners in Belarus must be freed immediately and unconditionally,” she posted on Twitter.
