BNC Leaders Hold Rally In Svetlahorsk

About 100 people gathered to express their protest against the sulfate bleached pulp plan in Svetlahorsk.
About 100 people took part in a rally, which was held near the Beriozki shopping center in Svetlahorsk city center, the official group of the BNC reported on Facebook.
Local residents and activists, representatives of environmental organizations as well as the leaders of the Belarusian National Congress Mikalai Statkevich and Yauhen Afnahel spoke at the rally.
The common opinion of all the participants of the action: the authorities should cease to treat their people as people of the third kind and their country as the state of the third world. The authorities should stop selling our land to Russia or China for a penny letting those countries to place harmful production in Belarus.
In addition, residents of Svetlahorsk received instructions on how to bypass the blocking of the independent website Charter97.org.
