The Belarusian Foreign Ministry Panics Over EU Sanctions

A representative of the Foreign Ministry complained about German sanctions.

The Foreign Ministry called it regrettable that many in the EU chose the dangerous logic of sanctions and confrontation with Belarus. This was stated by head of the European Department of the Foreign Ministry Kanstantsin Chyzhyk at the 12th meeting of representatives of the twin cities of Belarus and Germany, BelTA reports.

Chyzhyk noted that the last two years have been difficult for cooperation and contacts. In particular, the representative of the Foreign Ministry said:

“We consider it regrettable that many in the European Union and, unfortunately, also in Germany have chosen the dangerous and hopeless logic of confrontation and sanctions pressure against Belarus.”
