AFU Launch Offensive, Restore Positions Near Pokrovsk

The Ukrainian military advanced to the east of the town.

The situation in the Pokrovsk direction remains quite difficult, because the army of the aggressor country Russia does not stop constant assaults on Ukrainian positions. However, even in such conditions the AFU are achieving successes.

According to analysts of the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW), the AFU managed to advance east of Pokrovsk in the area of Mykolaivka.

The return of control over positions previously captured by the occupants is confirmed by geolocation footage from November 20. Ukrainian forces were again operating in this area in the Pokrovsk direction.

At the same time, Russian military bloggers claimed alleged success of Russian forces south of Pokrovsk, where they advanced as far as Yuriivka in the direction of Pustynka and 1.5 kilometres west of Novoaliksiivka.

However, analysts said that there were no confirmations of this information, we only know about the continuation of enemy assaults to the east, south-east and south of Pokrovsk.
