GUR Fighters Evacuated Unusual Snake Island's Inhabitants

The operation was named "GUR-KIT".

Fighters of the GUR (Ukrainian Defence Intelligence) carried out an unusual evacuation operation from Snake Island under the code name "GUR-KIT". They took 15 kittens, male and female cats, who were there practically unattended, off the island by boat.

People are constantly unsafe on the island due to the threat of bombing by Russian aircraft, so the head of the GUR, Kyrylo Budanov, who is an animal lover, decided to evacuate.

The special operation was carried out by fighters of the "Timur Special Forces", who regularly visit the island liberated from the Russians. The occupiers managed to spend four months there after the start of the invasion, and then, under pressure from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, they were forced to make a "gesture of goodwill" and leave this Ukrainian territory in the Black Sea.
