Stand-Up Comedian, Presenter Stsiapan Mankevich Detained In Belarus

He will be tried for the protests.

On December 26, 33-year-old showman Stsiapan Mankevich will be tried in Savetski district court of Minsk, writes Nasha Niva.

He is charged under Article 342 of the Criminal Code (active participation in actions that violate public order).

Stsiapan Mankevich is a Belarusian comedian. He studied psychology at the Belarusian State Pedagogical University and worked as a presenter at Radius FM. In recent years he has been known as a stand-up comedian and host of festive events.
