All the world's media are writing about the historic battle of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Kharkiv.
Ukraine demonstrated an impressive example of an innovative approach to combat: in the Kharkiv region, the National Guard carried out a fully robotic offensive operation for the first time.
The event is so significant that it attracted the attention of the world's media.
This became an important stage both for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and for the global understanding of modern military technologies, writes the American Forbes.
The 13th brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine carried out a combined operation using unmanned ground and flying drones to storm Russian positions.
The operation involved dozens of units of robotic equipment, including reconnaissance and mine drones, ground and air explosive devices, as well as armed ground robots.
"We are talking about dozens of robotic and unmanned vehicles deployed simultaneously on a small front line," said a representative of the 13th Brigade.
The key stage of the operation was clearing a Russian trench using a ground robot.
Similar actions were previously carried out in the Kursk region in September, but the current attack demonstrated a completely different scale.
However, experts note that despite the high effectiveness of robots in attacks, they remain insufficiently reliable to hold captured positions.
Maintenance issues, radio interference, and the inability to provide round-the-clock surveillance through sensors remain serious challenges for the use of military robotics.
However, even with such limitations, Ukraine continues to be a leader in military innovation, using modern technology to compensate for the lack of human resources.
Although the Ukrainian side has not yet disclosed all the details of the operation, one thing is clear: the world's first fully robotic battle has become an important precedent and, possibly, a turning point in the war with Russia.
