Ukrainian Forces Strike Russian Military Command Post In Kursk Region

The Russians suffered significant losses among officers as a result of the attack.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine struck a command post of the Russian troops in the city of Lgov, located in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation. This became known from a report by the Main Communications Directorate of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Wednesday, December 25.

"This night, the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck the location of the command post of the 810th Brigade of Marines of the Russian Armed Forces, which is located in an abandoned civilian building in the village of Lgov," the report reads.

"This strike was part of a broad strategy aimed at weakening the capabilities of the Russian Armed Forces in coordinating military operations against Ukraine," the Strategic Command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces noted.

Andriy Kovalenko, head of the Center for Countering Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council, reported that as a result of the attack, the enemy suffered significant losses among officers.

Local Russian Telegram channels also confirm the fact of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' strike on the command post of the 810th Brigade and report serious consequences for the Russian army.
