Ukrainian Forces Capture First North Korean Soldier

A wounded North Korean soldier was captured alive.

South Korean intelligence confirmed the information about the capture of a wounded North Korean soldier by the Ukrainian military in the Kursk region. The previous evening, the corresponding information about the capture of a DPRK soldier appeared on Ukrainian media resources.

The largest South Korean news agency distributed a statement from the Republic of Korea intelligence on Friday, December 27, confirming that the wounded North Korean soldier was captured alive

“Through real-time information exchange with the intelligence organization of a friendly country, (we) confirmed the capture of the wounded North Korean soldier and plans to thoroughly study further developments,” the National Intelligence Service said in a short press release, quoted by Yonhap.
