Earthquake Near Border With Belarus

Seismic activity was recorded this morning.

In the early morning of Saturday, December 28, 2024, at 2:07 local time (Europe/Warsaw, GMT +2), a minor earthquake with a magnitude of 2.9 occurred near the border with Belarus. The epicenter was located 35 kilometers from the city of Lublin (Poland) at a shallow depth of only 5 kilometers.

This was reported by resources monitoring seismic activity.

Due to the weak force of the tremors, the earthquake was not felt or, at least, there were no reports of its consequences.
