‘Our Whole Family Has Had Pneumonia’

Belarusians are increasingly getting pneumonia.

The number of pneumonia cases has increased sharply in Belarus. There is no official information from the Ministry of Health yet, and there are no recommendations either.

Belarusians are actively talking about the spread of the disease in the TikTok account of Charter'97.

“My child is sick now. Pneumonia. And it started with a high temperature and a slight cough.”

“My daughter got pneumonia, my husband got sick, and my friend as well.”

“I have pneumonia. But there is no fever. And no cough. Pneumonia was detected on a CT scan.”

“I have been in the hospital since December 21.”

“Two teachers at our school are sick. I go to a rural school, there are few teachers.”

“My son got sick — bilateral pneumonia, temperature 41.”

“It's true, I got sick myself, many friends got sick, high temperature — 38.5. I had a minimal one, the cough did not stop, I coughed like a dog.”

“In Barysau, a lot of people are sick, don't forget about the red zone, there are sick people there too.”

“I had a fever, a cough, and my throat hurt terribly, but a month ago in our city, a lot of people had pneumonia.”

“That's true, many people now have pneumonia, unfortunately. I went through it myself, and so did most of my friends.”

“I haven't been able to get over it for a month, I got complications with my ears, I partially lost my hearing.”

“I have pneumonia. I couldn't feel my lungs, my temperature was 40.9.”

“Our whole family has had pneumonia.”

“Pneumonia, 5 people in our class have already had it.”

“The whole school is sick, they are not lying, you just clearly do not live in Minsk.”

“Our whole family is sick.”

“Four people in our class have a fever.”
