Zelensky Would Lose To Zaluzhny In Presidential Elections In Ukraine
VALERIY ZALUZHNYY AND VOLODYMYR ZELENSKY

In the second round — by a landslide.

According to the survey, 36.1% of Ukrainians would vote for former commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhnyy if the presidential elections were held in the near future.

This is stated in the Socis survey for December 2024, which is at the disposal of NV.

In second place in the presidential rating was the current head of the Ukrainian state Volodymyr Zelensky (24.3%). Less than 10% of Ukrainians would vote for former President Petro Poroshenko or independent MP Dmytro Razumkov.

The leader of the Batkivshchyna party Yulia Tymoshenko, volunteer and political figure Serhiy Prytula, head of the Defence Intelligence Kyrylo Budanov, founder and first commander of the Azov regiment Andriy Biletsky, Kyiv mayor Vitali Klitschko and deputy from European Solidarity Oleksiy Honcharenko were even lower in the rating.

Moreover, in the second round of the hypothetical elections, Zaluzhny would defeat Zelensky by a landslide — 68.4% against 32.6%.

At the same time, if Zaluzhny did not run, and Zelensky and Poroshenko made it to the second round of the elections, 66.7% of respondents would vote for the incumbent president, and 33.3% — for the leader of the European Solidarity party.

It is worth noting that the majority (61.1%) of Ukrainians are against holding elections before the end of martial law. At the same time, 28.1% of respondents believe that Ukraine should hold both presidential and parliamentary elections.
