The Poseidon aviation complex has been approved for use in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has codified the domestically produced Poseidon unmanned aviation complex. From now on, it can be used in the units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. This was reported by the press service of the department.
The department noted that the complex is designed to perform a number of special tasks. The drones have a modern navigation system and electric motors. Unmanned aerial vehicles can perform tasks at different temperatures — from -20 ° C to +45 ° C — and during strong winds. The battery charge of the complex is enough for several hours of continuous operation.
“The operating altitude of these drones is beyond the reach of many enemy air defense weapons,” added Deputy Defense Minister of Ukraine Dmytro Klymenkov.
Earlier, Defense Minister Rustem Umerov said that Ukraine had started serial production of missiles. In particular, as of December 2024, with the support of the Ministry of Defense, the production of Palianytsia and R-360 missiles for the Neptune complex was launched.
Important to note, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine codified and approved the Ravlik robotic ground platform for use in the troops. It is capable of operating in difficult weather conditions, in particular, it easily overcomes off-road conditions, quagmires, sand embankments, narrow ditches, and low vertical obstacles.
Also, the domestically produced D-21 logistics ground robotic complex has been approved for use in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It can deliver provisions, ammunition, military equipment, and evacuate the wounded.
