Russian invaders set fire to a collector Near Chasiv Yar. About 100 Russian dead soldiers were there killed in an airstrike by the Ukrainian forces on January 9. This was done in order not to take the bodies of their soldiers and to hide the large losses.
As reported by RBC-Ukraine, Dmytro Zaporozhets, the speaker for the Luhansk operational-tactical group said on the air of a telethon.
According to him, on January 4-8, the Ukrainian Defence Forces recorded enemy activity in the area of the Siverskyi Donets River Canal.
The enemy used a period of thick fog and limited visibility to move along the canal pipes to the collector in Kalynivka near Chasiv Yar. Over 100 occupiers were recorded in four days.
"The enemy set up a shelter in the collector. On January 9, an airstrike was carried out on the enemy concentration. It is likely that the number of personnel that had accumulated there - more than 100 people - was killed," Zaporozhets said.
On January 21, according to the speaker, the enemy set a fire there probably to hide losses and avoid evacuation measures.
