A fire started at an oil depot.

On the night of January 26, explosions were heard over Ryazan (RF). Russians claim that unknown UAVs attacked the oil refinery again, after which a fire started there.

RBC-Ukraine reported citing Russian Telegram channels.

According to local residents, at about 1 a.m. local time, explosions were heard in the Ryazan region. In particular, about 4 explosions in the area of the village of Dyadkovo and another 10 in the Pesochni area, as Telegram Mash writes.

Afterwards, footage began to be published online in which explosions were heard during the UAV attack. At first, there was no official information.

According to ASTRA, loud explosions were heard directly in Ryazan half an hour after the first explosions. According to the Russians, the UAVs were trying to attack an oil refinery.

Around this time, the governor of the Ryazan region, Pavel Malkov, responded to the situation. He began to claim that the UAVs had been shot down, there were no casualties, and the material damage was being assessed.

“Unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed over the territory of the Ryazan region by air defence and electronic warfare systems. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties, and the material damage was being assessed. All emergency services are working,” he said.

At the same time, the Russians began to publish footage on channels showing a fire at what they claimed was a local oil refinery.
