Two countries are on the agenda.
US President Donald Trump has suggested where his first overseas trip could be during his second term. According to him, Saudi Arabia and the UK are on the agenda.
CNN reports.
“It could be Saudi Arabia. Could be UK. Traditionally it’s been UK. But last time, I went to Saudi Arabia because they agreed to buy 450 billion dollars’ worth of United States merchandise. … If that offer were right, I’d do that again,” he told reporters Saturday on Air Force One.
He also announced that he intends to speak with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer “within the next 24 hours,” after which he praised his counterpart.
CNN recalled that Trump's first stop abroad as president in 2017 was Riyadh (the capital of Saudi Arabia), as part of a ten-day tour of five countries in the Middle East and Europe.
