Symbols Rule The World
Anatoly Nesmiyan

Russia will be used, but nothing more.

One of the phantom pains of the Russian leadership is the desire to hold a "new Yalta" and divide the world against the backdrop of the victory over Ukraine. True, the victory is not so great so far, and no people are willing to divide the world with Russia, but who is stopping us from dreaming?

Meanwhile, two significant events took place not so long ago — Trump's inauguration and the opening of the forum in Davos. Whether it was a coincidence or was planned this way - it doesn't even matter. What is important is that this is a kind of significant event for two antagonistic forces on the planet — the left-Trotskyist globalist agenda in Davos and the anti-globalist right-wing agenda of Trump, who has already been honored with the name of his not even ideology (in fact, there is none), but a direction in world politics — Trumpism.

And what is characteristic is that Russia is not present at Trump's inauguration or in Davos, and is not expected to be there. It was not even invited.

But this very significantly underlines the Kremlin's place in the world order today. No one is going to share anything with it, no one even wants to communicate with it, except for specific and forced reasons. China, by the way, sent the highest leader by all standards to Trump's inauguration — Deputy Xi Jinping. Xi himself cannot come according to protocol, but he showed Trump the utmost respect. Russia does not even have an ambassador in the States to stand somewhere in the back rows.

Symbols rule the world. In this case, the symbolism of what is happening is simply beyond anything. No one will ever have anything to do with these people in the Kremlin. Use them — yes, but nothing more.
