AFU Prevent Russians' Breakthrough Across Border In Sumy Region

Ukrainian military revealed the plot of the enemy.

The enemy is trying to carry out attempts of assault along the border line of Sumy region, but there was no breakthrough in the village of Novenke.

This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the Telegram-channel of the head of the Centre for Countering Disinformation (CCD) Andriy Kovalenko.

According to the updated DeepState map, the village of Novenke is now in the ‘grey’ zone.

As Kovalenko explains, there was no breakthrough near Novenke.

‘Now the Russians are carrying out assault attempts along the border line without columns of vehicles, in infantry groups. The defence forces are destroying the enemy. At the moment there has been no breakthrough, the fighting continues,’ he wrote.

Why the Russians are Storming

Kovalenko explained that the enemy's plot is predictable and understandable - the Russians are trying to come to the rear of the highway that goes from Yunakivka to Sudzha to try to affect the logistics of the Defence Forces.

‘However, this plot is known, measures to disrupt it are being taken by the Defence Forces,’ he added.
