Russia Sends Over 200 Wagons With Military Cargoes To Belarus Over Year

They were carrying ammunition, radar systems, Tor SAMs.

At least 216 wagons with military cargoes were delivered from Russia to Belarus by railway last year.

According to the ‘Community of Railwaymen of Belarus,’ 19 enterprises of the Russian military-industrial complex and structures of the Russian Armed Forces were the shippers. Equipment, ammunition and components were sent to Belarus from the Russian railway stations Usad, Stroika, Pravdinsk, Vozhoy, Penza IV, Krasny Bor, Vagonozavod, Cheboksary, Yeisk, Kotovo, Martsevo, Morozovskaya, Patrykeevo, etc.

For example, four wagons with radar complexes were delivered to the address of the 1052nd separate radio-technical battalion in Mazyr. And the 25th missile-artillery arsenal received 10 wagons with Tor-M2 surface-to-air missile systems.

In total, the goods were delivered to ten Belarusian military units. Last year, the largest number of wagons came to Prudok station of the Vitsebsk branch of the railway - 60 units. They were sent to the address of the 2631st air base for storage of missile weapons and ammunition of the Ministry of Defence of Belarus (m/u 94017). As they say in the community of railway workers, they were mostly aircraft weapons.
