‘Belavia Offers Discounts On Tickets To Country Engulfed In Protests’

In doing so, the company joked.

Belarusian national air carrier Belavia has announced the start of a new promo-campaign for air tickets to Istanbul. The sale began against the background of reports about the ongoing protests in a number of cities in Turkey, writes Telegraf.news.

According to information published by the airline's press service, tickets at reduced prices can be purchased until 31 March inclusive. The trips with these tickets should take place in the period until 31 May 2025.

Under the current ‘Promo’ campaign, the cost of tickets for flights between Minsk and Istanbul is declared starting from the following amounts:

It should be noted that the current campaign was preceded by another sale of tickets on the Istanbul route, which ended on 21 March. Under that offer, valid for travel until 25 April 2025, the cost of a ticket from Minsk to Istanbul started from Br631 one-way.

‘Belavia specified that the number of tickets under the current campaign is limited. You can find them on the site under the ‘Promo’ fare brand, which is marked by a special icon in the form of a green cornflower. Entering a promo code to get a discount is not required.

At the same time, the company joked that those who do not have time to buy a promo ticket will ‘look at the photos of friends from Istanbul’.

The airline also drew attention to the terms of the fare. When combining ‘Promo’ with other fares (such as ‘Smart’), the rules of the ‘Promo’ fare will be applied to the entire order. In addition, tickets purchased under this promotion are not subject to discounts for children under 12 years of age.

By the way, this offer came at a time when information is coming from Turkey about the unstable situation and protest actions in some regions of the country, including Istanbul. This was reported by Telegraf.news journalists. The official message of Belavia about launching the campaign does not comment on the current situation in the destination.
