The Ukrainian president has spoken about the fears of the Kremlin head.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky believes that the head of the Kremlin Vladimir Putin is most afraid of losing his power, but it will inevitably happen because of the dictator's death.
He said this in an interview with Eurovision News.
Answering the journalist's question about what Putin is most afraid of, Zelensky highlighted three things. In his opinion, the Russian dictator is primarily afraid of his society.
‘The destabilisation of his society is what he fears. But no one will be able to influence it - he himself will influence it. His economy will have an impact, sanctions policy will have an impact. The fact that he does not control and protect all his territories,’ the Ukrainian president said.
He added that this Putin's fear can be influenced by Ukraine's Western partners if they are strong and want to demonstrate their real strength.
‘And if they put pressure on Putin, he will have a destabilisation of society, he will be afraid of this,’ Zelensky added.
The second thing the dictator fears, according to Zelensky, is losing his power.
‘It depends on the stability of society as well, but it also depends on his years. He will die soon, that's a fact - and everything will be over. That is, his question he can finish before he finishes his absolutely safe and unsuccessful historical life. This is what he is afraid of,’ the Ukrainian president said.
And Putin's third biggest fear, according to Zelensky, is to be left alone.
‘It was still not possible to isolate Putin in terms of politics until the end... And it is very important that the US does not help him get out of isolation, because it is dangerous,’ the Ukrainian president summarised.
