The Guardian: Britain To Provide Intelligence Data To Ukraine

This will preserve strike capability against deep targets in Russia.

Britain will continue to supply Ukraine with intelligence data even after the exchange between Kyiv and Washington has stopped. However, their capabilities are less than those of the United States.

This is reported by The Guardian.

According to sources, Britain will also continue to analyse raw data, but, in line with standard intelligence practice, will not pass on to the US the information received through long-established mechanisms of sharing between the two countries.

‘Their capabilities are not as comprehensive as those of the US, not of the same scale and cannot replace them,’ a former British government official said.

However, according to the publication, this would allow Ukraine to retain some early warning capability against attacks and some level of strike capability against deep targets in Russia.

The Guardian noted that intelligence data collected from satellites, ground stations, reconnaissance planes such as the Rivet Joint, and even covertly deployed ground forces, is accumulated and shared with Ukraine along with open sources.

This makes it possible to launch powerful missile and drone strikes against Russian territory.

We remind you that on 5 March, the media reported that the USA had stopped the exchange of intelligence data with Ukraine for strikes on Russian territory.
