The Ukrainian President warned of a Russian attack on other countries.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky warned of the threat of a Russian attack on other countries, and spoke about the attempts of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin to "historically" justify his expansionist policy and wars of conquest.
This is stated in an interview of the Ukrainian president with the founder of the Daily Wire Ben Shapiro.
Speaking about one of the theses of the Kremlin propaganda with the assertion that Ukraine and Ukrainians do not exist, Zelensky called for "not even trying to take into account only Putin's desires."
"And it is not serious to talk about such a large country that it does not exist. You know, here in Ukraine live tens of millions of people, and here in Ukraine there are tens of millions of Ukrainians, and all over the world live tens of millions of Ukrainians. And that many Ukrainians will not allow him to change history. He wants it, but it is impossible," the head of state emphasized.
Zelensky emphasized that every time when it comes to tens of millions of people, it is impossible to keep it “somewhere in the shadows and rewrite everything.”
Putin’s attempts to “rewrite the history of the entire world”
“He cannot fully control the flow of information in his country. And here he is rewriting the history of the entire world. And I can assure you that his ambitions will grow,” the Ukrainian president warned.
According to him, if Ukraine does not hold out, Putin will “go further” in his war of conquest.
"And he probably already has history books that tell him who is the real owner of the territory of Poland, Hungary, and so on. So he will move on. That is why I told you, be pragmatic. We must stop Putin, so as not to take risks... so that the world does not take risks," Zelensky said.
That is why, the Ukrainian president added, we talked "about NATO, about your families, about Europeans."
"Why should the world take risks? In order not to take risks, so that people are not afraid, they (the Russian side - editorial note) need to be stopped. We must stop him (Putin - editorial note) for not destroying us. We are fighting for our survival, and you are fighting not only for our survival, but also for your risks, for these possible, but big risks," Zelensky added.
