The US President's initiative may have positive consequences for some companies.
Donald Trump's customs war may have positive consequences for some companies.
Logistics operators, couriers and warehouses may take advantage of this situation, writes tvn24.pl with reference to Puls Biznesu.
Puls Biznesu also emphasized that the tariffs imposed by the US President on the European Union will lead to major changes in international trade, although, according to experts, not all Polish companies will lose from this. Local retailers may suffer losses.
“Overall, the new customs policy is an opportunity for companies that comprehensively serve logistics, as it will lead to increased demand for storage, packaging and order fulfillment services, especially from platforms and sellers who will bypass direct deliveries from China to the United States,” the report says.
According to Arkadiusz Filipowski, Chairman of the Management Board of Fulfilio, there is already “increased interest from Chinese operators in expanding supply chains using Polish logistics centres and local partners.” According to him, Poland’s importance as a buffer in transcontinental trade will grow. As a result, this could lead to a boom in the warehouse and courier markets.
